The project is implemented by the "Alessandrescu-Rusescu" National Institute for Mother and Child Health Bucharest, in partnership with the Center for Health Policies and Services Foundation, and its general objective is to improve equal and timely access to quality health services for mothers, newborns, and young children; to increase the quality of primary, community, outpatient, and hospital care services; and to strengthen preventive services addressed to vulnerable groups.The specific objectives of the project are:developing and disseminating 6 unitary medical practice tools based on scientific evidence;increasing the professional capacity of medical and non-medical staff through training programs;improving the level of theoretical and practical knowledge for personnel involved in mother and child care;promoting social inclusion and equitable access to health services;integrating the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination into the provision of medical services.
